Milan F.W 2013 Fashion Week

There are so many shows during Milan Fashion Week that are worth waiting for - this include Dolce&Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Fendi or Bottega Veneta, Gucci.
Out of the following my favourite show was definately Bottega Veneta.
I loved the curly hairdo with a dark shade of lipstick and of course the 50's like feminine silhouette.
Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce presented another unforgettable collection - from golden mosaics of Sicily's Cathedral of Monreale inspired ensembles to sequins and romantic laces.
In Fendi and Versace it was all about punk - the studs, the leather, the mohawks.

Now looking forward to Paris - I'm so excited to see Louis Vuitton, Elie Sabb, Dior, Balenciaga and Chanel collections ! :)

London Fashion Week F/W 2013

Next in the line afer New York ? - London.
Out of four fashion capitals (New York, Paris, Milan, London), it is British capital that I love the most.
There are so many young creative designers out there (among them Polish designer Krystof Strozyna), who blow me away with their works.
When it comes to London Fashion Week, I'm always most eagerly waiting for Burberry.                             Christopher Bailey is an incredibly brilliant designers who each season surprises me with his interpretaion of a classic trench.
He entitled his latest collection Trench Kisses.
I've immediately fallen in love with the variations of animal print seen not only on accessories but also on tops and pencil skirts.
As for other collection that caught my eye, there was Peter Pilotto with his iconic prints, pastel interpretations in  Topshop Unique and Simone Rocha collections, sportish chic JW Anderson and amazingly sleek capes seen in Antonio Berardi collection.
What was your highlight during London Fashion Week ? :)

New York Fashion Week F/W 2013

Fashion Week in Big Apple is over,  what have we seen ?
From science-fiction like silvery metallics (Helmut Lang, Proenza Schouler), strong military elements (Prabal Gurung, Michael Kors), berry tastes (Narciso Rodriguez,Rag&Bone), all-the-way quitlt (Theyskens' Theory, Rebecca Minkoff), classic camel (Derek Lam, Donna Karan), to crazy 70's prints (Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc by Marc Jacobs).

My favourite collection ?
Without a doubt Victoria Beckham - another incredibly strong collection!
It was sleek, chic and you can see her in each look.
Loved the pop of colour!
Most  memorable show? Marc Jacobs - those who have seen the footage know what I mean :)
Next in the line ? London. Simply cannot wait to see Burberry on Monday !!

What was your favourite collection during NYFW ?:)

Vogue Paris March 2013 - Suvi Koponen by Mert & Marcus

I was supposed to summerize New York Fashion Week F/W 2013 but as you all know, there are still shows to come, so I thought it would be better to postpone it.
Instead, I would like to focus on the newest March issue of Vogue Paris.
The previous French edition of Vogue featuring Milla Yovovich was all about the urban chic - showing off the best of New York City presented not only by the cover model but also by Anja Rubik and Magdalena Frąckowiak.
The recent cover goes back to the classic French roots, yet with a bit of twist as the cover graces for the first time Finnish model - Suvi Koponen.
I'm totally charmed by the nonchalant floppy hat and a classy satin blouse featured on the cover - so French chic!

Marc Jacobs For Diet Coke

Diet Coke is famous for its collaborations with fashion designers.
First it was Karl Lagerfeld then Jean Paul Gaultier who designed this cute striped and bustier-like bottle and now the brand chose for the collaboration the one and only Marc Jacobs!
Marc on the collaboration:
"I feel very privileged to be the new creative director of Diet Coke and put my stamp on the 30th anniversary campaign. Diet Coke is an icon - and I love an icon."
What do you think of this collaboration? Will you buy a bottle or can designed by Marc?:)
