Miranda Kerr - Running Errands In Big Apple

I know, I know, we see Miranda's streetstyle almost every day now and as some might find it even annoying but I can't help but smile every time I see it:)
There is no doubt that it is her job as a model to look head-to-toe perfect even off the catwalk and we may as well get some tips from her.
Just take this recent look from today: a comfy tweed Isabel Marant coat worn over a printed shirt combined with rockish chic leather pants, edgy Barbara Bui boots and a classy black purse - classic ensemble with a little bit of twist:)
You can find each piece basicaly in every retail store, so that you wouldn't have to spent all of your salary just on one piece.

Vogue Paris Decembe/Januaryr 2012 - Carla Bruni Sarkozy

For those who expected something more Christmas-like for the December cover of Vogue Paris, this might be a dissapointment but for me it is perfect!
I would never say just by looking on this cover that the Italian model/singer is 45!
Carla looks so lovely and energetic:) Though it is the second time in the row that we see denim on the cover of French Vogue, I'm still a big fan of this relaxed/rockich chic look.
Excited for the inside editorial!!

Olivia Palermo - Marie Claire Prix De La Moda Awards 2012

This is what I love the most!
Olivia, who we all know is not afraid of mixing textures/shades, for the Marie Claire Prix De La Moda Awards sticked with classics.
She looked absolutely amazing in a black long-sleeved Christian Dior dress which she accesorised with a crystal clutch, diamond ring and a bracelet.
Olivia completed the whole uber chic look with a sleek bun and a smoky make-up.
What a goddess!!:)

Style Trends F/W 2012 - Comfy Is A New Chic

I don't know If you have the same problem as I as it comes to knitwear.
It is hard to find a sweater which is warm and comfy but at the same time chic.
Fortunately while doing some shopping last week I found this gorgoeus nude knitwear at Mango!:)
As far as this season goes, basicaly everyone can find something that suits them.
There are the printed sweaters (remember the Burberry ones with owls combined with pencil skirts?:)), for those who are into gothic rock trend there are lots of gold/embrodered ones and those minimalistic ones in grey/nude/black shades which will always stay classy.
It all comes down to your own preferences:)

Miranda Kerr - Big Apple Fun With Flynn

Always super excited for the fall season stylings of Miranda.:)
If you are a daily reader of my blog, you may noticed that last year I posted many incredible ensembles of the Victoria's Secret model.
What I love the most about her style is that she holds on to simplicity (grey well-tailored wool coats, leather pants/shorts, comfy yet very chic cashmere sweaters etc.) adding to it killer boots and a chic totes (the maroon Celine shopper bag is so divine!)
As for this very look  - it is so incredibly chic!!! Just a oversized jumper dress combined with killer over-the-knee boots and Miu Miu sunglasses and how fabolous does she look?!
And how adorable does Flynn look?:)

InStyle Germany December 2012 - Olivia Palermo

I'm always happy to see pictures of Olivia, whether it is her always amazing streetstyle or a photoshoot.
So imagine my expression when I saw on the InStyle Germany Facebook Account this lovely cover featuring Olivia:)
I think she totally rocks the embroidered ensemble, although I would see her wearing something else as the white shade  kind-of washes her out.
Very excited for the rest of the editorial!!

Missoni To Launch Lower Price Collection

ITALIAN knitwear brand Missoni is launching a lower-priced line. According to Margherita Missoni - granddaughter of the fashion house's founders - plans for the affordable range are still in the early stages.
"You need to evolve," she toldThe Wall Street Journal. "If you sit for a moment, you're not relevant in fashion anymore."
The news of a diffusion line follows Missoni's collaboration with US chain Target last year - which was an instant sell-out. However, it's unlikely that the new line will quite match the low price tags of Target; "I don't think I could put the zigzag on that," she added.
While the 29-year-old couldn't confirm a name or expected date for the accessible collection, she did reveal that it would probably be released to coincide with the launch of a new e-commerce site.

P.S A very goo news for all of you who love Missoni but cannot afford buyin clothes from RTW Collections:)

Emma Stone - Out And About In Big Apple

No wonder she has been named the best dressed by Vogue.
Yes she may get help from a stylish when it comes to red carpet appearances (tha majority of A-list do), but when it is her own casual style she also stays inredibly stylish.
From what I noticed, Emma really likes wearing jeans which she combines with flats and chic blazers/cardigans.
This very ensemble is too cute! Love the comfy plaid coat worn over a classy grey sweater and how she paired it with casual skinny jeans and suede ankle boots - such a perfect autumnish ensemble:)
How not to love this girl?:)

We all know that Miranda has an impacable sense of style off and on her model  duty.

Later in the evening Miranda showed up at the "Nomad Two Worlds" book launch in the yet another amazing ensemble.

Vogue US December 2012 - Anne Hathaway By Annie Leibovitz

I was waiting in anticipation to see this very cover featuring Anne Hathaway.
As the "Les Mis" premiere is in the corner there was no surprise that the " The Devil Wears Prada" actress was the one to be chosen as the face of the December issue of American Vogue.
Love the way it portrais the natural beauty of Anne - simple yet so sophisitcated.
Love all of the looks in the inside editorial  - the black and white ensemble with the embroidered west
(the turquoise shade of the eye shadow is just fab!) and the chic velvet dress (very Wuthering Heights like).
What do you think of the cover?:)

The very first Global Kids Fashion Week!

Catwalk shows, performances, exhibitions, talks and activities centred around high-end children's fashion will act as a finale to the fashion week season next March.

The Global Kids Fashion Week schedule will feature two main shows: a media-only event showcasing the latest autumn/winter 2013 trends from the world's leading labels and a second event in aid of charity Kids Company. The second show, sponsored by premium childrenswear e-tailer AlexandAlexa.com , will be a ticketed show open to the public featuring the company's spring/summer 2013 collections. Proceeds from the show will go to helping underprivileged children across the UK through Kids Company.
"With this event, we aim to put children's fashion on the map worldwide," explained Alex Theophanous, founder and CEO of AlexandAlexa.com, which stocks over 200 global international fashion, sportswear and toy brands for children. "Kids' fashion is playful, fun and innovative - we all believe it deserves its own dedicated platform."
The luxury childrenswear market is thought to be worth £500 million in the UK alone, and London already plays host to Bubble, a childrenswear trade show, but Global Kids Fashion Week is unique in that it will be open to the public and will be mirrored with similar events in the Middle East, Australia and the USA. Brands such as Paul Smith and Junior Gaultier have already been confirmed.
Children and parents will have the opportunity to take part in workshops from the V&A Museum of Childhood and watch a performance from the London Children's Ballet.
P.S.What a incredible idea don't you think? We have Womens And Mens Fashion Week, why not for children?

Alexa Chung - Victoria's Secret 2012 Fashion Show

Whoever said that leopard-print has to be tacky is all wrong!
Just look at Alexa who for yesterdays Victoria's Secret 2012 Fashion Show  wore a leopard-print shift dress and combined it with chic leather-detailed coat.
She completed the whole look by adding flat ankle boots and always fabolous Chanel bag.
Of course I have to mention the red lipstick which was just a perfect finish for the whole ensemble!

I almost fainted when I saw Marion in this dress!
This is one of her best looks ever!
Starting with the nude/black shade ending with the whole structure of the dress with cut-out at the front - picture perfect combination!!
Love the way way Marion kept it simple with just a high bun and a sassy smoky make-up.
All together a very sexy and sophisticated look.

Vogue Hellas November 2012

It is so refreshing to see a non-black/non-greyish kind of ensemble on the November cover of Vogue.
Totally adore the way the blue lace dress has been combined with the beaded Dolce&Gabbana coat and a pearl necklace, it matches the whole modern baroque-like scenerio just perfectly.
Together with the cozy/home-like background, the cover makes you thing in a more positive way about Autumn time:)

New IT Shoe Designer

SOPHIA WEBSTER is the shoe world's new rising star. Her name has been circulating round the fashion world for the past few months, but her eponymous footwear label is set to attract widespread popularity now it's been given the seal of approval from three of fashion's key retailers - Dover Street Market, Harvey Nichols and net-a-porter.com. She's already begun to garner a celebrity following, with Chloe Moretz wearing her designs at a red carpet event last month.
"What I do is very feminine and fun and done in a chic, sexy way," Webster told us. "My shoes are for women who want to express their personality through their shoes and will appreciate and enjoy them."
Webster's creations are the closest shoes can get to confectionery - created in colourful poppy shades, featuring stripes, bows, ruffles and heels made from shiny balls that wouldn't look out of place in an old-fashioned sweet shop. The designer first decided on footwear as a career after having studied an art foundation course at Camberwell College of Art, before completing a degree at Cordwainers College - where Jimmy Choo and Emma Cook trained. She was then offered a place on the footwear pathway of the Royal College of Art's MA womenswear course, which helped her land a coveted role as Nicholas Kirkwood's design assistant - during which she learnt "how the industry works". Kirkwood has acted as a mentor to the young London-born designer, helping to provide production facilities for her spring/summer 2013 collection - which also received NEWGEN sponsorship.
"The thing I admire the most about any designer is the way they draw," she said. "I think that because my first love was always art, the sketching process is what I find most enjoyable and interesting. I really admire Manolo Blahnik and Edmundo Castillo - they are two shoe designers whose sketches I feel really tell a story and give the shoe a personality through the way they draw."
The starting point for Webster's spring/summer 2013 collection was a recent trip to visit her factory in Brazil.
"Everyone paints their houses in mad bright pastels which inspired the colour palette," she explained. "I spent some time in Rio between factory visits and really loved it there. Even in the parts with the most extreme poverty the people and the landscape is so lively and colourful and I wanted to reflect that in the collection."
