I so missed Street Style of Olivia during this month therefore I was incredibly happy to find this images.
This season I'm very into the military trend and so I love the khaki/ leather-detailed jacket that she is wearing.
Together with the comfy fur stole,  casual green skinny pants, chic suede tote and boots all look casual chic!:)

The Best Red Carpet Looks Of 2012

Christmas are almost here and so is the end of the year, so I thought it would be a perfect time to go back at the beginning of 2012 and make a short list of my top red carpet moments.
There were so many amazing red carpet looks throughout the whole year that it is impossible for me to mention all of them and so I'm posting only 10 of them.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford

I remember staying up late the day of the Oscars watching live stream and when I saw Gwyneth in this white dress combined with a cape I screamed! She looked incredibly chic, every inch of perfect:)

2. Diane Kruger in Giambattista Valli

Diane had many amazing red carpet looks this year but it was this years Cannes Film Festival that she shined the most. First there was this sexy maroon Versus dress for the photocall and than the Opening Ceremony where she wore this fabolous sheer mint Giambattista Valli Couture gown. Simply breath-taking!!

3. Charlize Theron in Christian Dior

The same goes with Charlize. So many memorable looks! But this one will stay in my mind forever.
The only word that I can think of is etheral. The cream colour, the drapings, the hairband. Gah!

4. Emma Stone in Chanel

I so love Emma! She is so talented, smart, funny and has an amazing sense of style. Throughout the promo tour of "The Amazing Spider-Man" there were so many amazing looks  (remember this fabolous gothic Gucci dress at the Paris premiere or the Pucci dress at the Moscow premiere of the movie?), yet t
this Chanel dress from Resort 2013 collection was my very favourite. Emma looked so cute and girly!:)

5.  Blake Lively in Zuhair Murad

I was so sad after watch the very last Gossip Girl episode but than I thought it had to end someday right:)?
Blake's character Serena is undoubtfully a fashon icon and so is Blake herself.
Love the mermaid-like Zuhair Murad dress on her! She looked so sexy and sassy!
And this retro Hollywood Glam hairdo? Just love this girl!:)

6. Claire Danes in Lanvin

The "Homeland" actress who just gave birth to a baby boy stood out at this years Golden Globes red carpet.
Absolutely adore the canary shade of yellow of this strapless Lanvin dress!:)

7.  Tilda Swinton in Celine

Tilda usually sticks to Heider Ackermann designs but for the BAFTA Awards she wore this amazing Celine gown and I have to say I was totally in love with it. Pure simplicity and chic!:)

8. Rooney Mara in Givenchy

The star was born! Rooney stole this year with many memorable red carpet looks.
This white Givenchy embroidered gown looked gorgeous on her and worked wonderfully with her raven black hair and a blunt fringe.

9. Keira Knightley in Erdem

How not to love this romantic look?
This strapless mint gown which featured blue lace elements was perfectly combined with a pink shade of lipstick:)

10. Cate Blanchett in Givenchy

I don't really have to say much about this look, do I? Every inch of perfection!!:)

Vogue Netherlands January 2013 - Agnes Nabuurs

Since both American and Russian issue of Vogue for January featured the latest Saint Laurent Collection by its new creatice director Hedi Slimane, I was expecting to see it also on the cover of Vogue Netherlands.
However, I was positively surprised to see this modern romantic look.
Love the white sleeveless collar dress which goes perfectly with the delicate features of the model and the curly hairdo.

Sarah Burton Wishes To Dress Pregnant Duchess

SARAH BURTON wants to be first in line to create theDuchess of Cambridge'spregnancy wardrobe.
"I hope I will be," she laughed when reporters asked her whether or not she will design the royal's maternity wear.
The Alexander McQueen creative director famously designed the Duchess' wedding dress last year - but, despite the months-worth of work that went into its creation, apparently it wasn't too tough a commission.
"Kate looked so beautiful, she's got such an amazing sense of grace and style - it was quite easy to make her look good," Burton told The Telegraph.  "It was a real labour of love and a real collaboration, for me it was a huge highlight of my career. It came completely out of the blue, it was very exciting and I felt very privileged."
Yesterday, Burton visited Buckingham Palace tocollect her OBE from Prince Charles - a man she believes has "an amazing sense of style" and "impeccable taste". The conversation soon turned to the royal baby.
"We talked a little about the dress and I said congratulations for the Duke and Duchess - I'm over the moon for them," she said.

Over-the-Knee Skirt

As Christmas Holidays are a step of a way, it is a perfect time to think about the ensembles to wear during this special time of the year.
Last year I sticked with classics by wearing a LBD and so I thought this year I might try something else.
When I saw these over the knee A-line 60's-like skirt at Christian Dior RTW Fall 2013 Fashion Show, I immedietely fell in love.
Lucky for me, while doing some shopping at vintage store some time ago, I found a very similiar one to that shown at the catwalk. Now the tricky part is what to pair it with.
Personally I would go the same way as the Dior ensemble - combine a skirt with a shirt of the same shade, add a chic gold-plated necklace and a sexy pair of high heels and you're ready to go:)

Miranda Kerr - Mango Photocall In Madrid

Winter season for me it's all about classics black, grey and of couse white.
That is why, there should be no surprise that I adore the whole ensemble worn by Miranda during the photocall for a new Mango campaign featuring Victoria's Secret model.
Love how she combined a chic beige blazer with a simple white top, matching ripped skinny pants and pumps - casual chic, easy to recreate look:)
P.S. Can't wait to see the whole Mango campaign featuring Miranda!:)

Vogue UK January 2013 - Kate Upton by Alasdair McLellan

As much as I'm not a big fan of Sport Illustrated models posing for a High Fashion magazine like Vogue, however I really like this cover featuring the famous Kate Upton.
She may not the be size of a model we usualy see on the cover of Vogue but she looks equally amazing.
I adore the white sleeveless Azzedine Alaia dress which enphasizes her curves.
The whole styling is very much modern 1950's pin-up girl don't you think?:)

Chanel And Joseph Listed As The UK's Favourite Fashion Brands

CHANEL and Joseph have been jointly named the UK's favourite designer fashion brands, in a survey conducted by fashion recommendation website Dressipi. The company, which counts former Marks & Spencer boss Sir Stuart Rose as chairman, quizzed 40,000 British women about their preferred labels.
While Chanel and Joseph jointly stole nine per cent of votes, other designer names to rank highly include DKNY with eight per cent and Alexander McQueen with five per cent. However it was the high street that topped the chart. An impressive 33 per cent of women chose Zara as their favourite British brand, followed by H&M with 25 per cent, Topshop with 21 per cent and River Island with 20 per cent.
"When it comes to designer brands, it's interesting that the same women who love the high street for fast fashion also lust after products from more established classic designers, such as Chanel or Joseph," said Dressipi co-founder Donna Kelly. "This implies that savvy shoppers are heeding stylists' advice to look to the high street for a quick fashion fix, but splash out on designer clothes when they want to make a statement or buy a wardrobe classic."

P.S. Quite shocking don't you think? I would rather say Alexander McQueen or Burberry but still...:)

Chanel Pre-Fall 2013

Last year it was all about India(remember the silk tunic over leggings,pearl-swagged tweeds?),this year Karl Lagerfeld took us the world of mystery and yes, romanticism - Scotland.
First thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word Scotland?
Of course tartan. To be honest I couldn't really picture Chanel and tartan but when I saw the collection I was blown away.
First look - Stella Tennant in a comfy kilt-pleated oversized coat, then there was this cute knitwear and classy trademark tweed.
Last but certainly not least - gorgeous Victorian-like white wool dresses - perfect final touch for the whole collection.
As far as hairstyle is concerned all I could think of was Cate Blanchett in "Elizabeth":)
No doubt this collection will be remembered!:)

Alexander Wang - New Creative Director Of Balenciaga

After weeks of speculations, we finally know who will lead the famous French fashion house - it's Alexander Wang!!!!
The New York-based designer will replace Nicolas Ghesquière who worked at Balenciaga for 15 years.
I find this news very exciting.
Alexander has so much potential and there is no doubt he will follow the footsteps of  his predecessors:)
What do you think of this choice?
