Dolce&Gabbana's Cameo Movie Appearance

DESIGNERS Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce are taking to the big screen again, with cameo parts in Woody Allen's new film To Rome With Love. The twosome - who will not have speaking parts - will appear in the final part of the three-part film alongside the film's director, who also appears only in the third episode.

Also starring Penelope Cruz, who will wear Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2012 pieces throughout; Ellen Page; Jesse Eisenberg; and Oscar-winner Roberto Benigni, the film is the second acting foray for Dolce and Gabbana, who appeared in Rob Marshall's Nine as priests in 2009.
It's not the first time Allen has invited a celebrity to take on a cameo in one of his films alongside well-known actors: French first ladyCarla Bruni appeared in last year's Midnight In Paris with stars including Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Adrien Brody and Marion Cotillard.
The film will premiere in Rome, naturally, on April 13.

Spring/Summer 2012 Style Trends - Sportish Chic

Whether you like it or not, sportish clothes are definately one of the biggest trends of this season.
I'm not only talking here about a simple tracksuit and a pair of sneakers - it something more.

From parachute strap dresses at Altuzarra, sleek track pants from Rag&Bone duo to Alexander Wang's mesh bombers, floral hoodies and stadium map sweaters - I hope to see some elements of this trend on the streets:)

H&M's Luxury Brand

H&M is rumoured to be launching its first luxury brand. Rumours emerged after Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri reported that the high street chain is working on a new project, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
"We are constantly looking at new ideas; it's a natural part of our work. However, there is nothing new that we can [talk] about for the moment," H&M spokeswoman Charlotta Nemlin told WWD.
The brand has dabbled in the luxury market before, teaming up with labels including Lanvin,Versace and Marni, as well as launching its sustainable red carpet range - entitled the Exclusive Glamour Conscious Collection - which will land in stores on April 12. Michelle Williams has already shown her support for the line, wearing one of its monochrome floor-length gowns to the BAFTAs in February this year. H&M also operates the higher price point high street label Cos.

Vogue Australia May 2012 - Joan Smalls

This cover comparing it to the previous one with Julia Frauche is definately darker but yet sophisticated and reminds me more of the Italian version of Vogue.
Joan was a perfect model choice for this very chic styling.
Love the way they accessorised the printed dress with the leather gloves and funky colourful earings.
As for the editorial it also looks amazing! Adore the pastel-coloured pleated Prada dress - so fresh and chic.

Amber Heard - Stroll In New York City

Amber always stays classy both in her casual wear as in the red carpet style - and that is what I love her for.
This is a perfect ensemble for a springish stroll - nude coat worn over a denim shirt, rolled-up jeans, accessorised with a studded loafers and a gorgeous Stella McCartney bag - causal but so chic!

Brooklyn Decker - "Battleship" Hamburg Photocall

I haven't really been familiarized with Brooklyn's style but after browsing some of her red carpet ensembles, I'm really impressed.
The Theykens Theory dress would have been boring if not for the gorgeous embroidered Isabel Marant jacket and a pair of orange Louboutin -  all looks fresh and chic.
Now I'm eagerly waiting for other looks during the promotional tour for "Battleship".

Stella's Olympic Collection

McCartney unveiled her Adidas Team GB kit for the London 2012 Olympics this morning in a show at the Tower of London.
"I felt quite emotional watching it," McCartney told us after the show. "I've been working on this for two years now. I felt so proud of the athletes more than anything and it really felt as if, 'woah, this is actually happening now'. It's really exciting and the whole thing is happening in our city!"
The collection was modelled by over 30 athletes - from basketball players and footballers to swimmers and Paralympic sprinters. McCartney - who was there in person to present the kit - took her inspiration from the Union Jack flag, which adorned each look. Sequinned variations covered leotards, while printed versions came on T-shirts and jackets. It was patriotic, exciting, fantastically uplifting and made us very proud to call London our home.
"I know I'm biased, but it really is one of the most iconic flags," said McCartney of the design. "Working on the kit was, a lot of the time, not about being a fashion designer - it was about creating something for the nation and the Union Jack seemed like the right place to start. I was also aware of the fact that it's something that might be overused in the build-up to the Olympics, in taxis, on cushions and mugs, so I wanted to do something different with it - but that was still respectful of its beauty. Actually, the colours of the Union Jack are similar to a lot of other flags and the athletes really wanted to feel identifiable as Team GB, so I just used different colours to say the same thing."
For McCartney, who has collaborated with Adidas since 2004, working with the athletes was her favourite element of the project.
"Having the opportunity to work with these incredible human-beings was just amazing," she said. "And the challenges of some of the restrictions of creating this type of sportswear were really exciting too. For example, with gymnastics you're very much judged according to personal taste. The gymnasts would say to me, 'it would be better if the lines were straight - if I wobble, I don't want my clothes to look like I am.' So, I was mindful of things like that."
Here are some looks from the collection:
