Today, 68th Venice Film Festival kicked off, and so we have an opportunity to take a glimpse on the red carpet, (which I'm always excited to see).
I'm very dissapointed in the lack of Ryan Gosling, who plays a leading role in 'Ides Of March'
(a political drama directed by George Clooney), hopefully there is a special someone who filled his gap.

McQueen MET Exhibition To Be Moved To London?

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN'S popular New York Met exhibition looks set to move to London, following a campaign appealing to the museum's curators to bring the showcase home.

"Alexander McQueen appreciates the huge amount of interest the public has shown towards the Savage Beauty exhibition," read a statement issued by the design house. "We have been in discussion with a number of major venues in London for some time now, however nothing has been finalised."

Fashion journalist Melanie Rickey started an online petition, which has so far attracted 2,000 names. Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, which opened in May, has been named the 8^th most popular exhibition in the Met's 141-year-long history - with 661, 509 people visiting.

The orange background is really awful, ruins the whole thing.
What is more, to be honest I don't find Georgie Jagger a typical model, but I appreciate her uniqueness.

MET 2012 Subject Exhibition Revealed

MIUCCIA PRADA and Elsa Schiaparelli will be the subject of the Met's next major exhibit set to open in May 2012.

The exhibition will launch with the star-studded Met Ball as it celebrates two of fashion's most influential Italians, reports WWD. Prada, and sister label Miu Miu, made €2.1 (£1.85), billion last year, whilst Schiaparelli is responsible for introducing catwalk shows to the fashion world.

The Costume Institute's curators, Harold Koda and Andrew Bolton, will hope to repeat the success of this year's phenomenon, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, which received a record breaking 661,509 visitors.

Net-A-Porter's New Additions

Hi everyone:)

Those of you, who as myself every week browse Net-a-porter just to look at all of these gorgeous pieces, will simply understand why am I so excited every time I see something interesting. 

And so I feel a need to share this feeling of excitement with all of you.

First thing that caught my attention where  leather Miu Miu pants, very rockish chic, perfect to accessorize it with a simple black top and edgy high heels or boots.

Than I noticed two pair of shoes - one Burberry Suede and canvas platform pumps                                (ideal for an autumnish weather), and Miu Miu Glitter and suede peep-toe ankle boots ( recently saw them on Diane Kruger).

As for the jewelerry I thought Bottega Veneta Oxidised silver and zirconia necklace was simply to die for!

Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Trends - Peplum Dress

This trend, for sure will be my favourite.
This type of a dress is, to be honest perfect for every kind of figure.
The reason for this is that, it sticks closely to the body, perfectly emphasizing what's best in one's figure.
As for the A-lists, who followed this trend, I think Emma Stone looked incredibly stunning in two coloured
Giambattista Valli dress at the premiere of 'Friends With Benefits'.
Also loved gorgeous Liv Tyler in polka-dot Stella McCartney, Beyonce in orange Victoria Beckham, and of course dear Emma Watson in a ruffled Notte By Marchesa.

The presenter and style icon gets a new TV gig...

Project Catwalk, America’s Next Top Model, every other country’s Next Top Model, The Rachel Zoe Project, The Model Agency, The City, Kell on Earth—the world is full of fashion-orientated reality shows.

It’s about to get one more. Alexa Chung has been signed to host 24-hour Catwalk, a new show in development in the US. The format sets designers against each other for runway challenges. Not clear on how that diverges from the ANTM/Project Catwalk model, but we’re sure they’ll come up with something

‘The thing that is happening now in fashion culture is that every character and subs

et of skill is being explored, and there is going to be great shows coming out of that,’ Rob Sharenow, executive vice president of programming at Lifetime, the network producing the show, told WWD.
