What is it ? As the name suggests its a combination of sportish elements of clothing (sweatshirts, sneakers etc.) with the elegant ones.

It's All About The Headbands

With all the frenzy surrounding the premiere of Baz Luhrmann's film adaptation of "The Great Gatsby"starring Carey Mulligan and Leonardo Dicaprio, 1920's inspired hairbands are one of the hottest trends this season.

Those who don't fell at ease with the Jazz Age, can   find other types of headbands on Spring/Summer 2013 RTW catwalks. 

You can go Sicilian-like with the silk scarf hairband (as seen in Dolce&Gabbana S/S 2013 collection), or maybe you can transform yourself into a Rock'n'Roll/Punk babe by adding an edgy spiked hair accessorie (look at Sienna Miller in head-to-toe Burberry at the MET 2013 Gala). The choice is yours :)

White Heels Fever

 Whether you like it or not, white heels are one of the biggest trend when it comes to accessories this season.
To be honest, I'v never been drawn into them. I accepted pumps in white shade only as element, which complete the wedding look. My attitude toward them changed only a while ago. Some find them as a symbol of bad taste, but I say why not give it a try ?  I think they look extremaly chic when paired with a very simple, elegant ensamble (just look at Karolina Kurkova's look).

Total Denim Look

One of my favourite trend for the upcoming summer season is a total denim look. Previously I wan't convinced about this concept, I would rather stick to a casualy chic ensemble by combining a denim shirt with leather pants but as the time went by I actually think it is one of the easiest, yet bold look of the season.                                 

Total denim look (as the name itself says) consist of a denim shirt and a pair of jeans that are in the same colour shade.  Take example from Rihanna, who recently rocked a total denim look, or if you still don't find this trend appealing pair a denim shirt with a pair of white pants (as did Gwyneth Paltrow) - believe me it looks insanely chic ! :)

Top 5 Beauty Products

As you well know (that is if you read my blog) I fully focus on writing about fashion.
However I thought it would be a nice change to write about something that is closely related to to it, that is beauty.  
Here  I present my 5 top beauty products, that I would die without :)                                                                  

1. Max Factor Smooth Effect

For ages I was searching for a perfect foundation long - lasting well-smelling and in a good price. Finally i stumbled upon Max Factor Smooth Effect. It is suitable for sensitive skin, won't clog pores and most importantly it is oil free.

2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable

I'm so addicted this balm ! I love it for 2 reasons, first: the face of the campaign is the lovely Emma Stone and second, it gives softer lips with a perfect flush of colour.

3. Sephora Advanced Lash Booster

Gives lash length, thinkness and strength - what to need more ?

4.  Nivea Creme

Okay, it may be greasy but is definately very hydrating. 

5. Boss Nuit Fragrance

After Versace Crystal, I was searching for something much more spicy.  The newest fragrance for women by Hugo Boss begins with a modern,elegant and fresh notes of aldehyder and peach, plus the face of the scent is Gwyneth Paltrow !

Best Dressed Of The Week

From red carpet movie and tv show premieres to casual chic street style.
Here is my top 5 looks of the week :

1. Olivia Palermo out and about in NYC

Olivia looked incredibly chic while strolling around Big Apple in a chunky sweater which she paired with her favourite Daryl K leather leggins. Love how she completed the whole look by adding a colourful L.K. Bennett pumps and a Givenchy tote (so to die for!).

2. Diane Kruger at the 2013 FX Upfront Bowling Event 

 Diane showed again why she owns the "queen of style" title. First there was the "Extra" appearance(Carven top and red leather Vanessa Bruno skirt), then the LA premiere of the movie (to which Diane wore this super sassy Thakoon dress) followed by New York screening (classy Chanel look) and finally the event promoting her upcoming th show "The Bridge". Again, the German actress sticked to classic by wearing a black and white ensemble by Jason Wu. Adore the lego-like red Chanel bag !:)

3. Sienna Miller running errands In NY

You either like or hate Sienna's style - it is this pure mixed British style. Love the way she combined chic with sporty by combining rolled-up jeans and Dunlop trainers with classy grey jumper and a red chain purse.

4. Olga Kurylenko at the "Oblivion" premiere in Vienna.

The Ukrainian model/actress sure knows how to wow the crowd.                                                                       She looked stunning in this red lace gown ! Love the way she emphasized the romantic vibe of the look with a braid hairdo :)

5. Charlize Theron in NY

Last but not least, my very favourite - Charlize. She always looks head to toe perfect -  whether it's                         a red carpet appearance or a casual outing.                               The coat, the jeans, the ankle boots - all is just so chic :)

Vogue April 2013 Covers

There has been many amazing Vogue covers for April emerging to internet. 

German issue of the "bible of fashion" featured the 73-year-old Tina Turner (looking amazing as ever!),  who graced Vogue cover for the very first time.

Newest addition to Vogue family - Vogue Ukraine chose for the cover model our own Zuzanna Bijoch, while other newbie - Vogue Netherlands sticked to its native Milou van Groesen.

Two competetive English issues of Vogue went for two different directions.  

Twiggy-inspired cover of British Vogue graced Eddie Campbell, while the American version went very political and chose for its cover model the-always-chic first lady - Michelle Obama.

There was a pleasant surprise for me with the Mexican issue of the magazine which featured Jara Jirickova, who looked striking in Balmain.

Last but not least there was the Peruvian Vogue Paris with the very colourfuli Isabel Fontana - out of all of the April covers the most positive one :)
